Wow!
I used a vintage placemat (cut into sections), older vintage hankerchief, antique crochet lace trim, antique button, 1950's chenille fringe bedspread... and here's how it all pulled together.
To attach the placemat I used a (leaf style) decorative top stitch.
My only regret is that I didn't place more batting under the handerchief. It is very fragile and I was afraid to stress the linen too much.
Does anyone know a good way to back a very delicate old hankerchief???????????
